DFID Global School Partnerships
Global school partnerships are a powerful and exciting way of bringing a global dimension into the lives of young people and their teachers. Successful partnerships have a profound and lasting impact on those involved. DFID Global School Partnerships promotes partnerships between schools in the UK and schools in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. The programme is a consortium initiative of the British Council, Cambridge Education Foundation, UK One World Linking Association (UKOWLA) and Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), funded by the Department for International Development (DFID).

The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) was created in 1992 as a response to the slow pace of implementation of Education for goals in sub-Saharan Africa. FAWE seeks to ensure that girls have access to school, complete their studies and perform well at levels.

Kivu Writers
Website of the Kivu Writers project. Each year students across Rwanda are invited to enter a competition by submitting a short story and a poem, one written in French and the other in English.
